The video explains in detailed steps on how to use Word Wall to create interactive learning resource, which is similar to what we’re creating as well- a resource to teach how to use AAC devices.
Here’s how the video on using Word Wall to create an interactive learning resource :
- What kind of interaction would the video require from your students? Does it force them to respond in some way (inherent)?
The video requires that students follow along to the step by step instructions shown to create their own interactive learning resources using Wordwall. They need to pay close attention and practice as they watch the video. - How would students get feedback on the activity that you set? What medium or technology would they and/or you use for getting and giving feedback on their activity?
Students could share their Word wall activities with peers for review and feedback. This is similar to what we’ve provided in our learning resource as well, where students have the opportunity to review their peer’s work. - How could the video have been designed to generate more or better activity from viewers or students?
We can improve the video quality by giving examples that the students can follow along. This could increase engagement and make sure that they practice all necessary skills. - How will you address any potential barriers for your learners in the use of this video to ensure an inclusive design?
To make sure that the interactive learning resource is inclusive, we should make sure that the video is accessible for all students, including those with disabilities. This could be done by providing captions, ensuring the video player is compatible with screen readers, and offering a transcript. We have also emphasized the importance of inclusivity and accessibility in our learning resource.
